New Resources to Help Find Physical Activity Programs & Resources

Navigation maps of physical activity programs and common resources have been created by the Southeastern Health Collaborative (SEOHC) for each of the three public health geographic areas in our region.  The SEOHC is comprised of many programs and networks with an overall objective of jointly supporting primary care providers in their efforts with a focus on prevention.  The main purpose of the physical activity maps is to support primary and community care providers in recommending physical activity services with their patients. The maps include physical activity programs which are on site and offer low cost or no cost services.  Mapping of the types of physical activity services available for primary and secondary prevention was based on website research and broad input from physical activity specialists, public health, primary care providers and other stakeholders.  The one page maps on each geographic location contain links to a wealth of available services and resources.  Feel free to share this resource with your colleagues! To view the Maps and Learn More
