Development of the Tips and Tools for Everyday Living: A Guide for Stroke Caregivers - Program for Academic Settings, September 2006 - September 2008

The objective of this project was to develop a stroke continuing education program for frontline community and LTC health care providers that can be used across existing academic settings and programs throughout Ontario. the program is based on the education resource entitled "Tips and Tools for Everyday Living: A Guide for Stroke Caregivers". The project developed and implemented a series of five focused, 4-hour educational workshops that were piloted at St. Lawrence College, Kingston and Brockville Campuses, Loyalist College in Belleville and a Long Term Care Home.
